Months in the making, kristianthemstrup.com is undergoing the final stages of construction. Although I’m treating this like masses of adoring fans have been hanging on my every word, anticipating the release of such an important and news-worthy site, I know it’s not the truth. But that isn’t going to stop me from acting like it, so be patient as I explain the process by which what you’re reading came about.
I’ve been doing WordPress design since early 2008, and I’ve got a good number of builds in my portfolio. My typical work is in CMS-based sites, just because more of my clients have leaned that way. Taking WordPress out of the blog platform is where I really saw the software going, and I’m glad many theme designers have taken that direction seriously. From simple four page info sites that took just a few days, to complex, 40 page script-heavy monsters that took a month or two, I’ve had my hand in many different builds. But I didn’t have a central location to consolidate them all, a portfolio if you will. That’s where kristianthemstrup.com comes in. This site will take my design and development work and wrap it up into a vain little package. Having said that, you can expect more of my portfolio work to be added in the coming weeks and months.
